TNA Impact Wrestling, August 1 2013, Full Report & Review

Welcome to this weeks episode of TNA Impact Wrestling, 1st August 2013.

First it goes over to the enterance of the arena to Taz who is stopped by Hulk Hogan's security team and told he isn't allowed into the building under Hogan's orders. Taz replies that he is pissed and he is going to take their jobs and goes off to make a phonecall.

To recap last week, Manik beat Greg Marasciulo and Sonjay Dutt in an Ultimate X Match to win the vacant X-Division Championship and be the first to hold the newly designed belt. The Main Event Mafia said they will ridden TNA of The Aces & Eights once and for all. The new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Sabin began his reign of being a fighting champion by challenging the winner of the Ultimate X Match (Manik) to a non-title, champion vs champion match for tonight. Bully Ray brought his aterny out, demanding he gets the belt back. As things looked like Hogan & Dixie Carter were going to take the belt off Sabin, Hogan annouced it'll be Chris Sabin vs Bully Ray at Hardcore Justice for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage Match.

Mike Tenay & Jeremy Borash on commentary announced one of the matches which the fans voted for regarding the BFG Series. It will be a dream match of two X-Dvision legends and for the first time ever in TNA Impact Wrestling, it will be AJ Styles vs Austin Aries as tonights main event. Tenay & Borash then talk about August1Warning and show the latest tape which was showed Thursday afternoon which stated the fans won't know when and wont know how but he will be here.

Outcomes one of tonights main event competitors, Austin Aries who recieves a decent reaction from the crowd. Aries starts off by congratulating Chris Sabin on beating Bully Ray and becoming the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Aries then warns Sabin he is now the hunted and that he will be the man to win the Bound For Glory Series. Aries then promotes tonights match between him and Styles stating that not just the fans but everyone involved in TNA have been dreaming of Austin Aries & AJ Styles since the moment he entered this company. He then dubs the match to being 'The Phenomenal One' vs 'The Common Donominator of Greatness'. Aries then rephrases the match stating that it is AJ Styles, the man who carried TNA on his back for a decade vs Austin Aries the man who will carry TNA on its back for the next decade. Once he finished, outcomes his former tag partner, 'The IT Factor' Bobby Roode. Roode tells Aries enough about dream matches and talks about nightmares stating when Aries beat him last year at Destination X it was a nightmare and that he has had a 'crap' year since losing the match. He then states everyone including himself has forgot what Bobby Roode is capable of inside a ring and reminds everyone he is the longest reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion and that he is 'The IT Factor' of proffessional wrestling. Roode tells Aries he's going to back to his old self and that tonight he'll prove it pays to be 'Roode'. Aries tells Roode he hopes he gets his mojo and gets to the final of the BFG Series so he can beat him again.

Following this Bobby Roode's opponent comes out which is 'Super Mex' Hernandez. Roode not wasting anytimes runs straight at Hernandez and starts attacking him on the ramp. Following the commercial break, Roode is incontrol of the match. Roode looking more ruthless and aggressive than previous months just domination the hugely built Hernandez just blocking any attempt of a comeback from his opponent. Roode comes close to getting the win and 10 points after Henandez went airbourn and missed with Roode following up with a Crossface. Hernandez able to getting out of the hold gains some momentum and hitting Roode from running down the ramp and clearing the ropes hitting a shoulder block into Roode. With the ref having his back to the match, Roode hits Hernandez with a Low Blow and follows up with holding the tights and rolling up, Hernandez manages to kick out on 2. This seems to lead to Roode snapping like he did last week, as he starts throwing chairs into the ring aggressively. As the ref is clearing the ring of the chairs, Roode gets the 7 points and the win after hitting Hernandez with a beer bottle. This makes it official, the old selfish Bobby Roode is back and will win by any means neccessary.


Winner: Bobby Roode
Over backstage we see the Main Event Mafia; Sting, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Magnus & Rampage Jackson. Sting is asked if the Mafia have anything to do with August1Warning which he replies, they'll find out soon enough and Angle tells the camera man they've got an offer that The Aces & Eights won't be able to refuse. Also backstage we see ODB talking about her match with Gail Kim. Eric Young & Joseph Park backstage, with Young giving Park tips on how to not flip out and gives him something in a bag. Then over to Chris Sabin who approches Manik who talks about the mask he wears has given him an identity and that Sabin tells him to bring his 'A' game and that it was their hearts that brought them both the gold which they carry today.

Outside the arena comes a stretch hummer limo with August1Warning inside. No one revealed as of yet. A reminder Austust1Warning does not work for Spike TV or TNA Impact Wrestling.

Over to the ring is the second BFG Series match with Gut Check Winner Jay Bradley set to take on Joseph Park with Eric Young in his corner. Eric Young passing Park head gear to try stop Park from bleeding and flipping out. Bradley starts things off by catching Park off guard and takes it to Park. Bradley in complete control with him getting a few 2 counts, however more intent and concerned about the head gear which Park is wearing. Park starts gaining momentum with a few choulder charges to Bradley and the a scoop slam. Joseph Park attempts to get the 10 points he lost from DQ by applying the Boston Crab, whihc Bradley manages to reach the rope. Bradley soon after manages to finally get the head gear off Joseph Park.Park manages to get the 7 points by reversing the Boomstick from Bradley and hitting him with a Fall Away Slam.


Winner: Joseph Park
Backstage to Main Event Mafia with Angle asking the guys if they know any additional information on August1Warning which they say no to. Sting then cheer about Bully Ray no longer being TNA World Heavyweight Champion and thats the first of two things they've managed to do. Sting says that there might need to be a sacrifice that they'll all need to make which is a big risk which they all say that they're ready to take.

Now we have it, a champion vs champion match. The new X-Division Champion Manik vs the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion Chris Sabin. The match starts off in typical X-Division fashion with both competitors reversing grapples with rolls and quick movements with flicks here and then with both keep hold of oneanother for a good period of the match. things slow down as Sabin hits Manik with a kick off the apron and takes the fight to him ringside which soon goes back to the ring. Sabin then keeps controls with various grapples on the mat followed by a few kicks. Manik soon gets back into things after a brilliant Head Scissors followed by various Spring Boards and gets a 2 count with another 2 count coming soon after following a Sit Down Powerbomb. The two soon go back and forth trading blows to each other with Manik hitting a very impressing combo of strikes and kicks. Sabin manages to hit Manik with the Hail Sabin to get the 3 count.


Winner: Chris Sabin
During the video replay of the Sabin & Manik match, Bully Ray comes out and attacks Sabin from behind. Manik attempts to help Sabin which is easily brushed off by Bully, but this gives Sabin time to get to his feet and take it to Bully hitting him with repeated strikes, chops and kicks. Sabin fired up sends Bully Ray retreating.

Outside with the camera on the white hummer limo which is for August1Warning who is then interrupted by Taz who isn't allowed into the building and because of this he goes to expose August1Warning. Taz then starts laughing and saying "you got to be kidding me" and talking about all the hype for this. The camera man then goes to the limo which inside isn't a man just a laptop with another warning video.

It is then announced that the fans have voted for Bad Influence will go one on one, next week it will be Christopher Daniels vs Frankie Kazarian. After a backstage promo it is showing tension between Daniels & Kazarian as they start by saying nothing will become between them but after Daniels refers to Kazarian as 'poor Frankie' Frankie isn't impressed. This leads to him saying he'll take the points next week, pooring out Daniels drink and then walks away.

Up next is Knockouts action between to proven former Knockout Champions. ODB vs Gail Kim. Starts off with the two going face to face and Gail shoving ODB down, ODB doesn't waste time to react and spears Gail and follows up with repeated strikes. The two then go to the ramp for a short period showing intent of the continuity of aggressive Knockout matches. The two having spells of control in the match early on with Gail Kim hitting an impressive drop kick on ODB. Kim attempts to using the ring post to apply the Figure Four Leg Lock on ODB, who manages to reverse by grappling Kim with her legs and hitting her head into the post. The two then go out to the ring and Kim attacking ODB after throwing her into the steps. The ref does a double count out which leads to the two going back and forth running at each other deliver blows


Match was a Draw
Over to AJ Styles who says everyone saying him and Aries will be a dream match that has never happened before is 'BS' and his match with Jeff Hardy was 'BS'. He then states he isn't that hopeful wide eyed kid he use to be instead he's that hungry greed powered man he's become and that if you can't beat them join them and says the BFG is about the time and the money that comes with it. He then tells Aries that tonight he will become his nightmare.

Now to the August1Warning stating you won't know where of how but he's here.

It then shows King Mo's Bellator match which he won which means he gets to go for the champinoship.

Bully Ray is backstage talking to his guys about the Mafia's offer for them and that all he's concerned about is getting Sabin into that cage and destroying him and breaking both of his knees and getting his title back.He tells Anderson he is in charge of taking care of the Main Event Mafia. It then shows that the fans have voted that next week in the BFG Series it will be the Mafia's 'Samoan Submission Machine' Samoa Joe taking on 'The Charismatic Engima' Jeff Hardy, Bad Influence taking on each other, Daniels taking on his partner Kazarian and also The Aces & Eights Vice President Anderson will take on Main Event Mafia's Magnus.

Now for the main event match, the match dubbed as a 'dream match' its 'The Phenomenal' AJ Styles vs 'A Double' Austin Aries. The match again like the earlier champion vs champion match starts with the two using quick grapples and reversals with neither being in control. Aries seeming to have Styles well scouted manages to get the slight uphand but that doesn't last long as Styles Drop Kicks Aries off the top rope then Sling Shots on top of him out on the floor.Styles then manages to gain control, using his slow non rushed approach which he has adapted to since returning to TNA. Styles then delivers a vicious Full Nelson Slam on Aries. Aries then manages to gain the advantage in the match and attempts to hit Stlyes with his Brain Buster finisher, Styles manages to reverse. Aries managing to keep momentum hits Styles with a flying drop kick off the top rope then one into the corner. Styles comes close with a 2 count as he reverses a Superplex off the middle rope and hits Aries with a Neck Breaker. Styles then goes to hit Aries with a 450 Spring Board Splash which Aries avoids and manages to apply his submission hold onto Styles to try and gain those 10 points. Styles reverses and applies the Calf Killer on Aries to try and get the ten points himself. Aries reverses and hits Styles with the Brain Buster which Styles kicks out at last minute. The two then fighting on the ramp, Aries went to hit Styles with the Brain Buster which Styles reverses with a Front Superplex. Styles then goes to do a finisher of his own to hit him with the Styles Clash, which Aries answers back and reverses with a Back Body Drops AJ off the ramp onto the floor. Aries then goes to hit Styles with a Suicide Dive out on the floor, with Styles getting out the way and sending him full momentum into the steel steps. Both back in the ring, delivering striker after strike with each other, Aries looking to have control and coming off the better but Styles manages to hit Aries with Pele. It looks like its going to be a draw as they've both got their arms across each other, however Aries manages to get the energy to get his shoulder up right at the end.


Winner: Austin Aries
Now to find out what the offer is that the Main Event Mafia are going to offer The Aces & Eights that they cannot refuse. Sting starts things off about talking about the goals of the Mafia and that they've achieved one and that they didn't get the fight that they wanted but then states to achieve the second they've got an offer that The Aces & Eights can't refuse. Just as it goes over to Kurt Angle, hits The Aces & Eights music hits and out comes Vice President Anderson leading the way followed by Devon, Knox, Garrett & Wes. Anderson says that the Mafia cheat and thats the reason why Sabin is champion. Anderson says if the Mafia like to do dirty, then they'll do dirty and that they're not backing down. Angle says if they're not going to back down then there is going to be serious consequences and that at Hardcore Justice there's going to be a match, any five members of The Aces & Eights will take on all five members of the Main Event Mafia and that they person that is pinned in the five on five will have to leave Impact Wrestling for good. Whilts the Aces talk amongst themselves it goes over to Samoa Joe who says they don't understand, and the match proposed isn't a negotiation. This then leads to a 5 on 5 brawl in the ring with Mafia looking stronger as they send Aces out to the ring. Anderson says if they want they've got and that they accept.

The lights then go off and music hits, here is August1Warning. The lights go on and there stands MMA legend Tito Ortiz standing on the stage, Tito Ortiz is August1Warning. The Aces & Eights and Main Event Mafia are left stunned, as the Mafia make sure Rampage doesn't go out to the ramp.

WWE Monday Night Raw 22/07/2013

Welcome to this weeks Edition of the WWE Monday night Raw review I hope you enjoy.


Opening Segment 
Brad Maddox starts off the the show in the ring announcing raw is in Texas and also that we will have the contract signing for the WWE Championship tonight.And outcomes John Cena and takes his seat for the contract signing and listens to Brad Maddox asking him why he chose to face Daniel Bryan, Maddox then goes on to state reasons why he thinks Cena chose Bryan that include he is bigger, stronger and he does not resemble a troll unlike Daniel Bryan. Outcomes Danielle Bryan to a great ovation and then Cena reels off a great list of names of guys who are great and not because of there size, Cena then tells Bryan that he chose him for the match because he earned  and he deserves it. Daniel Bryan chants fill the Arena and Brad Maddox cuts off Daniel Bryan and tells him that he has to prove himself to everyone and that he will have matches to do so tonight, Maddox finishes up with no chants returned by the crowed with yes chants.

Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio
The bell rings and the lock up to start us off, Del Rio focuses on the massive bruise on the leg of Sheamus with some kicks to get control at the start of the match, but Sheamus hangs with him him with some heavy blows.A Michael Cole chant rings out whilst Del Rio is stomping away at Sheamus. Sheamus returns that with a suplex to get a near fall, but Del Rio comes back with a smart kick to the injured leg to hack Sheamus down, Sheamus sends Del Rio to the floor on the outside. Del Rio is back in control of the match after ramming Sheamus into the steel steps to put Sheamus in even worse shape than he already was. Del Rio misses a running kick wildly and Sheamus hits a power slam to give himself a little space and a break. Sandow is shown backstage with his Money In The Bank Brief  case while the two men in the ring battle in what is a decent contest. Sheamus starts to build momentum as he powers through some of his offensive moves. Del Rio counters with a backstabber for a close 2 count. Del Rio misses a kick and ends up on the outside of the apron allowing Sheamus to get him and hit him with 10 blows to the chest. Del Rio climbs back into the ring and runs into an Irish curse fort another near fall. Sheamus gets knocked off the top ripe by a vintage Del Rio enziguri for another 2 count, Del Rio gets out the way of a Brode kick to then roll Sheamus up for the win.
Analysis 
This was a pretty decent match they told the story very well with Sheamus doing a great job in selling the injury to his leg but i still don't like Sheamus. when he is in the middle of a match he is a little too much like Super Cena for me.

Backstage segment with Teddy Long  and Booker T

Booker T and Teddy Long

Booker says he respects Vince McMahon's decision but he was shocked at who got the job as GM of Smack down and then Teddy cuts Booker off saying he was doing Booker's work on Smack down whilst Booker was sat on his ass. Booker t is shocked at what teddy is saying to him and after that teddy walks off after saying if he isn't the gm maybe Vince made the right decision.
Analysis 
The whole serge for power in the WWE at the moment is great and is a change of pace and I think the Teddy Long and Booker T angle fits in with it. Teddy Long going Heel is a great idea as i believe on screen personalities
 of a none wrestling capacity are better when they are heels it works much better.


Christian vs Titus Oniel 
Titus out powers Christian in the early stages of the match. He nails Christian with a Back breaker over throwing him over is head with ease.Titus picks up Christian outside the ring, walks up the stairs, and throws him into the ring with one hand. Titus is looking very good in this match. Titus runs into a drop kick by Christian and we get a near fall. Titus gets a big Boot in after a distraction form Darren Young and Christian manages to get Titus in position for the Kill switch and he nails it for the win.
Analysis
I enjoyed this match a lot and it did not let down with Christians wrestling ability mixed with Oniels entertainment abilities shown through in this one and made this a good one to watch, now the hope is that Christian feuds for a Championship. Preferably with Ambrose for the US Championship at Summer slam.

Interview with Ryback
Josh Mathews asks Ryback if he enjoys hurting people and Ryback responds with I do you little twerp I hate average and the big has to eat, He then goes on to say people are intimidated by me and if they are not and will prove why they should be, Josh Mathews makes his exit.
Analysis 
A typical robotic Ryback interview and I don't  buy into his character or gimmick its been done to many times before and now it looks as if there isn't room for him on the roster. Ryback needs to change things up to climb back up in the pecking order.

A promo with Mark Henry
Mark Henry comes out and says "I'm proud of the fact that I was born in Silsbury Texas and I am proud about the effort i put into my match with john Cena". Henry then says that if the shield want him to come and get him. The shields music hits and here they are to surround the ring. They immediately jump in the ring for the 3 on 1 attack soon after the attack the Usos make the save and surprisingly they end up getting the better of the Shield

Backstage segment with Bryan and Cena
Daniel Bryan is shown backstage and Cena says to Bryan tonight isn't about luck and Bryan says "tonight Maddox was right tonight is my opportunity to prove i belong here". Bryan then tells Cena to not get involved or it proves everything he said about Bryan was a load of crap.
Analysis 
at the minute Bryan is the best thing in pro wrestling and he tells Cena like it is. Cena on the other hand does his usual thing and bores the crowed with his bring, stale and childish style and seems as though he tries to make Bryan feel small and at the same time make himself be this hero type of guy in offering help Daniel Bryan.Summer slam should be great if these two go one on one at the minute no one deserves this match more than Daniel Bryan as he has worked hard since he has turned up at the WWE and it looks like all the hard work is paying off

Darren Young vs Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler shows off early on. He hits a perfect drop kick for a 2 count. Young drops Ziggler on the top turnbuckle to get control, and the match slows down a lot. Ziggler gets out of the way of Young in the corner and Young hits his shoulder into the steel post at full speed. Ziggler gets dropped on his face for a 2 count. Young talks some trash and that costs him the match as Ziggler beats him with the Zig Zag.
Big E storms to the ring to attack Dolph Ziggler but he is out smarted by Zigglers speed and Ziggler laughs as he makes his way up the ramp.
Analysis
This was a good match but the pace slowed down towards the end but the aftermath is what people want to see as it sets up an anticipated match between Ziggler and Big E at Summer slam, I for one am looking forward to this match.

Miz TV

Miz says he is going to be the host of Summer slam and that before then there is a new reality show called total Divas. Miz the introduce the cast the Bella Twins , Mario,Jo Jo and the Funkadactles. Miz asks Jerry The King Lawler to come in the ring and talk to the Divas and Eve Marie slaps him in the face and then Miz hypes the new show up .
Analysis 
This was a good segment for the  Divas as it put them into the spotlight been on Miz TV but it wasn't good for The Miz at all he should be doing bigger and better than this.I hope to see him continue his feud with Curtis Axel for The IC Championship.

Backstage segment with HHH, Maddox and Stephanie

HHH approaches Maddox and tells him "so you don't think Bryan is big enough or strong enough or championship material " and he then says I don't care what the old man thinks and HHH thinks Bryan is the future of WWE, HHH then tells Maddox that there are 2 trains one is the dying and the other is the future choose one. Stephanie then appears and says "i feel sorry for you Brad and i have an idea just maker sure you get on board".
Analysis 
Another great addition to the power surge and this time it seems as though Maddox is caught between HHH and his wife Stephanie. Who will he decide to go trust?

Fandango vs Rhodes 
Sandow is on commentary for this match. Rhodes hits a nice drop kick early to take control. Fandango and Rhodes trade chops, which all gets woos from the crowd. Fandango picks up the aggression as he beats Rhodes all round the ring.Fandango and Rhodes almost mess up a Moonsault but thankfully it wasn't too bad. Sandow gets on the apron, Rhodes is able to taker out Sandow and Fandango with a Disaster kick. He pins Fandango to pick up the win and Sandow bails up the ramp.
Analysis 
I usually hate these matches with a special guest on commentary but it was a good match for one reason it helps Rhodes make the transition form Heel to Face and I believe the transition will be complete at Summer slam and I for one am looking forward to this chapter in his  career.

CM Punk

CM Punk promo
CM Punk makes his way gingerly to the ring. The crowd chants CM Punk as Punk tells the crowd that Lesnar took him apart and that he was dealing with a gifted athlete.Punk states that Lesnar can beat him down but he cant keep him down and Punk lists Lesnars accomplishments that include NCAA champion, WWE Champion and UFC champion. He then goes on to say he isn't afraid of Lesnar and that he aims to make Heyman pays for what he did tom him and that it does not matter what they think because this is his ring. Punk gets intense and lists a number of greats that he has gone the distance with that include Cena, Rock and Undertaker.Punk announces that he wants the best vs the beast.
Paul Heyman pops up on the tron and ask punk is this what you are reduced to now. Heyman then asks Punk are you a coward or a fool?.Punk responds with i will answer that at Summer slam. Heyman talks up how much Lesnar is in great shape and then says that Lesnar is  his client and his best friend.
Analysis

RVD vs Wade Barrett  
Barrett takes advantage while RVD is playing to the crowd but RVD then quickly gets back into it with a kick to Barrett's face. Barrett pulls RVD to the outside and runs him into the side of the ring before rolling in him back in for a 2 count. Barrett grounds RVD to try and slow him down. RVD ends up hanging upside down on the outside of the ropes after a big kick from Barrett, The crowd chants for RVD as he fights out of a headlock. RVD uses his quick fight and unique style to get back on top and knock Barrett off his game, He hits Rolling Thunder for a 2 count. Barrett hits his trademark back kick , but RVD is back on him with kick's to the head. RVD goes to the top and hits a brilliant 5 star Frog splash for the win.
Analysis 

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan has back to back matches

Daniel Bryan vs Jack Swagger
Coulter talks about how the people have ruined this state and that the yes chant is stupid but that only makes the crowed chant it even more.

Swagger backs Bran into a corner from the beginning of the match, But Bryan battles out with some kicks and punches. Swagger hits a low shoulder block to take out Bryans knee.Swagger hits knee after knee to Bryans stomach until the ref pulls him off, Bryan takes a bit of punishment until he is able to apply the Yes lock to win by submission
Daniel Bryan vs Antonio Cesaro
Cesaro gains control but Bryan counters a few times and ends up putting Cesaros knees into the mat the hard way. Cesaro hits a vertical Suplex before mounting Bryan for several forearms to the face. He grounds Bryan with a headlock  but Bryan gets out of it and makes some momentum of his own. Bryan misses a big kick to the head but he then hits a couple of drop kicks for the 2 count. Swagger ends up pushing off the top rope while the ref is distracted, Bryan is able to kick out of the huge uppercut he falls into. Cesaro is firmly in control hitting a gut wrench for a 2 count. Bryan begins to battle back into the match with elbows to the face but Cesaro picks him up and slams him hard for a 2 count. Bryan ends up hitting a German Suplex and then following that up with a roundhouse kick to the head to get a close 2 count. The crowd chants this is awesome and they are right into the match. He nails Cesaro with kicks to the chest before smashing him with a dropkick, Cesaro counters a aide Suplex but it isn't enough to keep down after that they both trade blows in the middle of the ring, but Cesaro gets the upper hand with some big uppercuts before a big clothesline for a near fall. Cesaro tries for the Neutralizer, but Bryan back drops him to counter. Bryan suicide dives to the outside of the ring taking out the Real Americans  and out of no where Bryan rolls Cesaro up in the ring for the 3 count.

Backstage Alex Riley says to Maddox that that was impressive and Maddox replies with lets see how he does with this next one.

Daniel Bryan vs Ryback

Bran takes it to Ryback from the start with knee attacks and Ryback soon grounds a tired Daniel Bryan. Bryan fights back but is then cut if by the power house. While Ryback grounds Bryan he taunts the crowd, Ryback is picking Bryan apart at ease.Bryan counters a Thez press into a half Boston Crab, But Ryback is able to crawl to the ropes to break the hold.Bryan kicks out of the Meat hook clothesline and that ends with Bryan on the mat. Ryback goes outside the ring and grabs a table and sets it up as Bryan does a suicide dive onto Ryback. Ryback hits the announcer desk hard but gets revenge when he slams Bryan into the steel steps. Bryan nails a missile drop kick from the top and then he puts Ryback in the yes lock bang in the middle of the ring. Ryback forces the break and they both fight there way to the outside where Ryback Power bombs Bryan through the Table and Bryan wins by DQ

Cena rushes to the aid of Bryan and attacks Ryback to then put the offer to Ryback for a Tables match

The cameras go backstage where Maddox tells Vince that the main event for next week is Cena vs Ryback in a Tables match and then Vince says what about Bryan put him against a friend, Maddox replies with Kane? and Vince says yes that's right.
Analysis
This was a great part of the show maybe the standout segment and match with Bryan showing why he is the best right now by wrestling for 30 minutes in 3 hard thought matches, my favorite of the matches was Bryan vs Cesaro it was ppv standard and i was impressed by Cesaro he showed glimpses of brilliance.Its just a shame Cena makes the save in the match against Ryback I would of preferd Bryan to battle back and have a stair down with Cena.

Things we learned from Money In The Bank
What we learned from the Money In The Bank PPV included  Damian Sandow stabbing his best friend Cody Rhodes in the back to win himself the World Heavyweight Money In The Bank brief case, what seemed to be the start of the split up between AJ Lee and The Showoff Dolph Ziggler as AJ screwed Ziggler in his match for the World Heavyweight Championship against Alberto Del Rio, Rob Van Dam returned in the Money In The Bank All stars match, Randy Orton won the All stars Money In The Bank contract.

Opening segment 

Brad Maddox

The opening segment on Raw this week saw Brad Maddox come out to Officially tell the world that he is our new General manager,The lights when out and when they came back on Maddox was stood on the ramp and he said how this is now the era of Maddox and that we will see a re match from last night with Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler. John Cenas music hits and he walks out to the crowed booing him so there is nothing new there, Cena makes a joke about been more hated than Maddox, Maddox tells Cena that he can pick his own opponent for the Summer slam PPV. Cena jokingly tries to be skeptical but it doesn't go down too well with the crowed  because as usual with Cena it comes across to cartoon like, he makes a reference to Doc Hendrix and Dutch Mantel. Randy Orton makes his way to the ring holding his new Money In The Bank brief case, Orton says that he isn't gonna make the same stupid mistake Cena made and announce when he would cash it in and that when he does cash in his Contract Cena wouldn't see it coming. Fandango comes out to the majority of the crowed Fandangoing, Orton takes Fandango down during the pronunciation of his name and Cena is quick to get out of there so Orton and Fandango can fight. Maddox decides to make it a match and calls for a ref.

Analysis 
Brad Maddox is a popular decision all over the WWE universe to succeed Vickie Guerrero in the hot seat, Maddox in my own opinion is a great choice to be the permanent GM of Raw as he has a great look, Charisma and it just feels like it is the right time for someone like Maddox to be the General Manager of Monday Night Raw.John Cena as WWE Champion is getting very boring now but at least its not as bad as his weak promos but hopefully with Summer Slam around the corner there will be a big story line to make the WWE Championship look more important.Randy Orton as the MITB holder is a great decision and one that i never saw coming, after taking a backseat to allot of main event talent recently i would say Randy Orton deserves this opportunity.

Randy Orton vs Fandango
The action gets underway with Orton stomping Fandango all over his body, Orton wisely reverses a Suplex by Fandango and then Fandango decides to take a breather outside the ring, Orton chases him around the ring to slam him into the apron.
He then meets Fandango on the outside of the ring again this time flooring him with a hard hitting clothesline before he flattens Fandango back first onto the barrier. Orton throws him into the ring for a near fall. Fandango fights back for a little while but Orton comes right back with a backdrop to regain control. Orton hits a beautiful drop kick for a close 2 count. Fandango kicks Orton in the head, and it sends Orton to the outside. Fandango sends Orton into the steel steps.
Fandango slingshots Orton into the 2nd rope. Orton attempts his signature back breaker, but Fandango counters into a back suplex. Orton starts to build head of steam as he hits Fandango with a T-Bone suplex. Fandango hits a kick from the apron, but Orton meets him in the corner and positions him for a rope hung DDT. Orton gets the crowed pumped into a frenzy before hitting the RKO for the win.

Analysis
It was a strong showing from Orton as expected as he won MITB so he should be back on the rise but i am slightly confused about Fandango as 1 minute he is rising the next he isn't its fair to say his WWE career so far has been up and down even though he hasn't been there too long.

Backstage segment
AJ Lee is trying to plead her case to Dolph Ziggler but he isn't interested in the slightest and says "it is time to move on" and he then walks away.

Analysis 
This was a great move in the story line going forward for Ziggler to make the complete turn from Heel to Baby face and now hopefully he will have a lengthy fude with Big E.

Promo
Mark Henry is in the ring, He talks about losing to Cena at Money In The Bank and he calls Cena one of the greatest WWE Champions of all time.
The crowed chants you tapped out to Mark Henry, Henry gets to the point And says he wants to be the guy Cena chooses to face at Summer Slam  The Shields music hits and they head through the crowd to the ring.
Henry does not move as they surround the ring in Shield fashion. He knocks Reigns off the apron, but they ground Henry rapidly, Henry fights back until Reigns Spears him to take him down. They hit Henry with the triple Power bomb.
Analysis 
A poor segment o this edition as it is clear the only reason they used the shield is to put Henry off tv for a bit and the shield are better than that and deserve more.

Backstage segment
Jericho walks into Maddoxes office making fun off his shirt size, Maddox asks Jericho if he would like to face RVD and Jericho happily agrees to the match

Alberto Del Rio VS Dolph Ziggler
The crowd chants for Ziggler right away but Del Rio takes control right off the bat, Ziggler comes back with a nice dropkick for a 2 count. Ziggler does his 9 elbow drop combination, the crowd is really behind Ziggler at the moment. Ziggler misses wildly in the corner and Del Rio take advantage with kicks and stomps, Ziggler just manages to kick out after he was given a superplexed from the top rope.
The crowd chants for Ziggler has he tries to regain control Del Rio, Del Rio back drops Ziggler over the top rope and onto the floor. These two go back and forth for a while longer in a even battle and then out of no where the bell rings and then AJ is shown with the bell, Ziggler looks confused and is then kicked in the head by Del Rio for the 3 count.When the match finished Ziggler was confronting AJ just as he is beheaded by Big E.

Del Rio wins
Analysis
It was an ok match wasn't the best from these two fine wrestlers but at least the crowd got what they craved and that was Ziggler turning face full circle and fuding with Big E, whats next for Del Rio well we will just have to wait and see what they conjure up for him.


Promo segment
R Truth comes down to the ring singing and dancing  and the lights go out, R truth is attacked by the Wyatt s and thrown out of the ring
After Truth is attacked by Harper and Rowen, Bray gets in the ring and cuts a promo that is very strong and intriguing, Eventually Truth gets back in the ring, but he gets taken out again, Bray talks to Kane through the camera and then they all leave. 


Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger vs The Uso's 
Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger are out next as there manager Zeb Coulter verbally bashes the Brooklyn brawler.
The fans voted for The Usos to face Cesaro and Swagger. The Usos controlled the first few seconds but Cesaro shifts momentum with a power throw.
Swagger and Cesaro trade tags for a little bit but the Usos are able to make the tag, the Usos steal a win by Jey rolling up Cesaro for the 3 count.
USO'S win

Christian vs Sandow
Christian and Sandow go back and forth since the first bell rang until Sandow shoves Christian off the top rope to the outside. Christian eventually fights back and runs through some signatures. Christian hits a cross body for the near fall on Sandow, Sandow counters the kill-switch , but Christian counters the elbow of distane and gets the pin.

Cody Rhodes comes out of know where and attacks Sandow. Rhodes gets a possative reaction as Sandow escapes via the crowd.

Brei Bella vs Naomi 
This one was over just as quick as it started with Bella on top for a moment and not long after that Naomi fights back and hits some offence on Bella. Naomi wins the match with a high cross body.

CM Punk promo

Punk and Lesnar

CM Punk comes out and states that he knows Heyman and Lesnar are in the building so they should just come out and Heyman comes out to say how he helped Punk in his early days, Heyman goes on to talk about how he made all the sacrifices in there relationship and he says that without him Punk isn't the best in the world. Punk gets irate as every word passes Heymans lips.

Heyman bangs on about how punk isn't close to any of his family and all he has is the WWE universe, Heyman also says the reason for screwing punk at MITB is because he cant beat Brock Lesnar. Punk says that he wont stop until he has made Paul Heyman and his associates pay and he swears on Heymans children life that he will get Heyman. Heyman brings out Lesnar and the crowed pops big time.

Lesnar walks slowly to the ring as he is preparing to get in the ring with punk, Punk is jumped by Heyman and pulled out the ring by Lesnar. Brock Lesnar tosses punk with ease, Punk battles back but Lesnar is too strong and he slings Punk around by his hoody and then is thrown onto the announce desk, Lesnar delivers an F5 to CM Punk and then he and Paul Heyman walk off as proud as you have ever seen them.
Analysis 
Built up right this has the makings to an all time great with Punks ability and mic skills matched by Lesnars star power and brute force it possibly cant let down, i for one can not wait until Summer Slam.

Backstage with HHH, Stephanie and Brad Maddox
Stephanie is shown with Brad Maddox backstage, HHH comes in and says Maddox is doing a great job so far. They ask if Maddox has cleared any of his decision with Vince and Maddox says no. HHH then makes a joke about his future endeavors as he leaves.
Analysis 
I really like this angle so far with it looking like it is going to be a surge for power within the WWE, i just hope they don't use Maddox just to make him look silly, i say this because he has all the ability and makings to be a great gm for raw and possibly smack down as well.

RVD vs Chris Jericho

RVD VS Y2J

RVD comes out to a great reception from the crowd as does Y2J. The bell rings and they both do a littl bit of counter grappling back and forth. Jericho drops RVD with  a dropkick as the arena fills with ECW chants, RVD comes back with a spin kick and then he whips Y2J into the corner for his vintage monkey flip. He then hits a standing moonsault for a close 2 count . Y2J hits a perfect enziguri to get a 2 count of his own, this match is living up to the fans delight. RVD flips out of a suplex to kick Y2J and he then gets a near fall, they then grapple some more untill Y2J hits RVD with a power bomb to get another near fall. Y2J rolls out of the way of rolling thunder but then RVD hits him with a moonsault. Y2J counters a hurcunrina into the walls of Jericho but RVD makes it to the ropEs and he manages to kick him into the head and he then makes his way to the top rope and hits Y2J with a picture perfect 5 Star frog splash.

Analysis
RVD vs Y2J all in all was by far the best match of the night and it is clear to see that both of them are as good as ever. Some great spots in this match that we havnt seen for a while but onaothewr note there was no way RVD was going to lose this match as it is public knowledge that Y2J is off on tour with Fozzy.



John Cena promo

Daniel Bryan and John Cena

The ramp way is full of near enough every superstar on the roster as John Cena walks down to the ring to announce his opponent for Summer slam. Cena talks as everyone looks on and Cena says he cant choose because he hasn't made his decision yet and that all night he has listened to superstar after superstar make their case and he just cant make the decision, So Cena decides to make the decision for a match that the WWE universe would like to see and he asks for the fans help, So Cena with that said Cena real's off names to the fans to hear there response and they are Heath Slater, 3MB, Randy Orton, Kali, Alberto Del Rio, Y2J, RVD, Fandango, Sheamus, Ryback and last but not least Daniel Bryan. Cenas choice is a superstar who deserves this opportunity more than anyone on the current roster, 

Analysis 
A great segment for a pretty good show, I the only thing i hope is that Bryan isn't used just so Cena can keep onto the belt for a while longer. Cena did a pretty good job in this segment getting the cowed revved up For Bryans entrance but it would of been a disaster if it wasn't Daniel Bryan that got this opportunity, he has everything going for him right now he is solid on the mic, funny, one hell of a wrestler and he is accepted by the IWC and casual fans and in my opinion Bryan is the hottest prospect in pro Wrestling right now. Also it  has to be said Daniel Bryan deserves it and hopefully this fude will put Bryan where he needs and deserves to be and that is a permanent figure head in the main event scene.


All in all I think it was a pretty decent show It had its highs, its lows and at times it was a bit predictable but at the same time it was very enjoyable to watch as a wrestling fan because It felt as though they was giving us what we actually wanted and not what they thought we wanted.

WWE Monday Night Raw 08/07/13

After the finish to last weeks episode of Monday Night Raw it is safe to say fans where looking forward to what is in store this week. This weeks show started with a hype video of the Wyatt family that finished with Bray Wyatt saying "we are here.

Wyatt Family

Vickie Guerrero kicks off the live action with a promo about how she climbed to the top of a male dominated work environment with no help from anyone at all,the king then cuts Vickie off on the mic and tells her that there will be a voting poll on the outcome of Vickie's job evaluation.Vickie then goes on to talk about what she has planned for the rest of the show and that includes John Cena standing face to face with Mark Henry, and one more match for Christian has he takes on  Kane, Randy Orton vs CM Punk and Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus 

Bryan hypes the crowed up with yes chants whilst he awaits his opponent Sheamus. The match starts with the two superstars feeling each other out and that leads to stand off then they both glare up at the Money In The Bank Brief case, they then go back and forth for a while in a up and down match.Bran caught Sheamus off guard on the top rope and attempts to do a huricurina on the Celtic Warrior but Sheamus hung on to the ropes with his feet and Bryan got sent off the top rope by himself, Sheamus then hit Bryan with a battering ram to get a 2 count.Bryan blocks the white noise to then kick Sheamus cleanly in the head and then tries to finally hit the diving headbutt but he fails and Sheamus gets another 2 count, Bryan with the yes lock that is reversed into the cloverleaf that is then rolled up for the 3 count by Daniel Bryan.

Post match 

Daniel Bryan and Sheamus glance at the Brief case and follow that up with a handshake based on respect.This is your typical WWE stair down that seemed to bore the hell out of me but none the less this was a brilliant match.

WWE camera man tries to find the Wyatt family, he is told to go straight ahead by someone fixing there own car.I get a great Hill Billy American classic horror film feel off this group and i can not wait for there arrival.

AJ and Dolph Ziggler talk backstage about who it is all about and AJ says its all about them both been champion at MITB and she then says "don't you wanna go all the way" and Ziggler replies with "yes i wanna go all the way to my 3rd title reign".This a pretty good segment and it seems like Ziggler is veering away from this faction to go by himself on his first baby face run in the WWE


A RVD video package of some of his most memorable WWE moments and one of them was a ladder match for IC Title.

The shield vs Tons Of Funk

From the 1st bell the Shield dominate the match tagging in and out  effectively working on Brodus Clay,Reins beats Clay to the ground and then picks him over his shoulders to then be rolled up by Brodus Clay for a very close 2 count and then the tag is made by both participants and Tensai and Rollins get in the ring and Rollins is turned inside out by Tensai with a shoulder block.as Tensai continues the attack Rollins secretly tags in reigns and dives onto Brodus clay on the outside of the ring, immediately reigns spears Tensai for the win.

More footage of a WWE camera man searching for the Wyatt s, he gets confronted by one of the brothers in what seemed to be there yard, the brother tells the camera man hey follow me, the camera man gets spooked and follows him into the house.

    

John Cena and Mark Henry

John Cena and Mark Henry face to face

Cena comes to the ring to talk about Mark Henry, Cena sucks up to the crowed by saying the crowed is great in typical Cena fassion.

Mark Henry confidently makes his way to the ring to insult Cena by saying he is scared and he fears Mark Henry and of course Cena denies it,Mark Henry says hes more hungry than ever and Cena days "what you brought me out here to talk bout  Damn  snickers bars.Mark Henry then goes onto say that he would sell his mamma for that title he even sold out his own family. Cena and Henry get close and Henry decides not to get physical but than changes his mind ;Last minute to get the upper hand and then Cena picks Henry up for the AA but the weight becomes too much and Cenas les give in .

Mark Henry got the upper hand in this one the week before MITB but i do think Cena will win the title match on the ppv and then hopefully get Cena a fresh fude.

Josh Mathews interviews Orton

Randy ortan says that "punk calls himself the best in the world but i dont believe it and i never have and if john cena finds him in a state i will cash in and take the WWE title from him".

Y2J vs Curtis Axel

Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman each cut a promo before Axel goes one on one with Y2J, Miz is on commentary for the match,Axel bickers with Miz on the outside and then Axel jumps into the ring and gets codebreakerd,Jericho gets a 3 count, Another good match for the night but it is Curtis Axels first defeat which is disappointing but it makes me want to see Axel vs Miz this Sunday even more.

Backstage segment

after all the Smack down MITB contenders talk backstage Fandango stands in between them all and tries to pronounce his name until he is elbowed in the back of the head by Wade Barrett.

I am looking forward more to this match out of the two MITB matches simply because there is a very good chance that a young wrestler is going to get his chance at a World Heavy Weight Title spot.

The WWE camera man is shown again in a video package been lured into what seemed to be the Wyatt family home, the man luring him into the house was Luke Harper and the house was lit up by candles and they met Bray Wyatt sat in his rocking chair with a lantern.
I was really looking forward to this debute since we heard about them,these guys have great potential and they all stand out in different ways plus the gimmick is brilliant.

Sin Cara vs Alberto Del Rio

They went at it in a Mexican style clash for a good few minutes before Dolph Zigglers music came on and he came out talking trash to Del Rio to knock him off his game and eventually it happened Del Rio had enough, Del Rio left the ring and attacked Dolph Ziggler and the match ended in DQ, Sin Cara suicide dived on to both men and then Zigglers music hit.

I liked the fude so far it has been pretty solid and its been looking like Ziggler will get the title back in fude going forward but i still don't get why the involvement of Sin Cara


Vickie's Job evaluation
Vickie Guerrero is in the ring with brad Maddox awaiting the arrival of the Mcmahans. Vince  HHH and Stephanie come to the ring together,the bickering begins and its HHH and Vince doing the bickering on whether or not Vickie is entertaining. Stephanie wants the vote to determine Vickie's outcome and off we go to the public vote results with 75% of the audience voting that she had failed.Vickie goes mental as Stephanie tells her she is fired to the delight of HHH and to the disgust of Vince, Vince tells the crowed that they have no idea what makes a good gm and he declares Brad Maddox the new general manager of Monday night raw.

Brad thanks Vickie backstage for the opportunity and he then says thankyou to Vince and Vince then says he gives the people what they need and with that Vickie attacks Maddox.

Brad Maddox as the gm of Raw is a brilliant idea he has gm written all over him, it will be very interesting to see how he does in his new role within the company.

Kane vs Christian


The match itself was pretty poor and didn't go on for too long with Kane ending it with a chokslam, Myself would of liked to see a whole lot more of this match.

Post Match

video shows up on the tron, Bray Wyatt calls the people sheep who need to be led. Bray says this is not the beginning its the end, He says we're here. The lights go out and Bray comes out with Rowan and Harper and Bray has a lantern, Rowan  and Harper attack when the lights come back on while Bray Wyatt watches from his Rocking chair, They smash Kane with the steel steps.

Although the match wasn't brilliant i think this one was more about the aftermath and the debut of the Wyatt family, It did not disappoint and Bray Wyatt already looks like a brilliant cult leader in his role.

Backstage segment
Vickie is backstage with a box of her belongings and she is met by Ryback at the door and he tells her this inst the end and then hugs her.

Maybe Vickie will be Rybacks manager or something to that effect if not Vickie should definitely have a spot on the show for purpose she is great at what she does.

AJ Lee and Alicia Fox vs Kaitlin and Layla
The Bella twins are commentary as AJ Lee and Alicia Fox take on Kaitlin and Layla, Kaitlin ends up spearing AJ and the match sort of fizzles out with no real end to it.

Not a great way to build up match to a PPV in my opinion but we will just have to wait and see and hopefully we will be surprised again.

Cm Punk vs Randy Orton

CM Punk is interviewed by Josh Mathews and he says Rand Orton isn't entitled to facts,he also says holding the WWE title longer than anyone in the modern era combined with beating Orton tonight and Winning his 3rd MITB makes him the Best In The World.

Match
The match flowed so gratefully and it was up and down and i just think these two have good matches anyway, there was some great spots in this one that included punk reversing an RKO into a backslide and again into a big roundhouse kick and the match came to an end when Punk beat Orton with the GTS after surviving an onslaught of attacks by the Viper.It was the best match of the night by a massive distance

Post match
after the 3 count Daniel Bryan came out and attacked Punk, He then got a ladder out and attacked Orton and then he climbed the ladder unattached the Brief case and held it to the cheering of the fans.


Another good show and about time this product had some consistency, MITB is looking very good and seems to have a strong card from top to bottom, It sure is one PPV i am looking forward to watching.

Monday Night Raw 01/07/2013

MITB Ladder match participants, Bryan, Kane, Orton, RVD, CM Punk, Sheamus, Christian 

This week Monday Night Raw started with Daniel Bryan cutting a promo on the MITB ladder match, the promo included Daniel Bryan telling us that he is not the weak link as he made Orton tap out last week, Bryan lists some great world champions, he should be amongst them in his opinion, he then gives us his thoughts on his own chances of winning the match, becoming the WWE Champion and he used that word we all know and love yes! yes! yes!. As Bryan began to speak more about been apart of history and at that point outcomes Sheamus to make his claims to becoming Mr MITB. Randy Orton walked down to the ring next and talked about his hopes of capturing the MITB brief case to eventually become one more time the WWE Champion. Soon after Orton was done, Kane, Christian and CM Punk followed to make there points. Orton attempts to attack Bryan until Kane intervenes and ends up getting the RKO done to him, Orton slivers backwards as the other superstar vacate the ring. A video package is aired regarding the greatest World Champions of the past.


Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs Christian, Jimmy and Jay Uso
Rollins and Jay Uso start this one off with Rollins jumping on the quick attack, hammering Jay Uso to the ground and out of nowhere Jay Uso hits Rollins with a big forearm after coming off the ropes and that leads to Jay Uso getting the 1 count. Rollins makes the tag to Ambrose, Jay  Uso somehow gets the upper hand again, the Usos and Christian tag in and out effectively to keep Ambrose isolated until Ambrose turns the tables on Christian. Jimmy Uso gets in and battles Ambrose in the middle of the ring until Jimmy Uso hits Ambrose with a devastating super kick, Christian gets the tag does the same time. And Christian is on fire immediately, taking down Rollins a number of times and out of know where a big kick to the head from Rollins and Ambrose gets tagged back in and rolls Christian up for the 3 count off a cheap shot from Rollins.

The shield gained well deserved retribution on Christian, Jimmy and Jay Uso after losing to them last week on Smackdown, this one was a pretty average 6 man tag match and that is something we don't so too often if the Shield are involved

Backstage with Bryan and Kane
Daniel Bryan confronts Kane about what happened earlier in the ring but Kane doesn't want to hear it, Bryan then goes on to say "I got you a re match with Orton with me as the special guest referee", Kane's face is a picture and he doesn't look impressed at all.

Dolph Ziggler vs Jinder Mohall
This one went on longer than I thought It would of, It was a good contest with Mahal beating Ziggler down for a while until Ziggler landed a beautiful drop kick and gained momentum to then zig Zag Mahal for the win, whilst Ziggler celebrates this good win 3MB jump in the ring for the attack and Ziggler out smarts them with his speed and manages to Zig Zag Macintyre, Ziggler pumped the crowed.

It will be very interesting to see how Ziggler does with this run as a baby face, he has all the attributes to achieve good things as a baby face plus he is much appreciated and accepted by the IWC and also with casual Wrestling fans. All that is left now is for him to split form AJ and  Big E

Backstage with Vickie, Brad Maddox and HHH
HHH tells Vickie she is doing a wonderful job and that she should listen to the McMahan's and let them get it all out and then don't do anything they say because you do what HHH says.

Randy Orton vs Kane

In the ring Bryan is laying the law down to Randy Orton. Kane had the advantage from the get go in this one with Daniel Bryan as the special guest referee, Daniel Bryan DQS Orton for shoving him but Kane persuades him to restart and Bryan agrees, Daniel Bryan distracts Orton whilst Kane is stunned and when he comes around Kane big boots Orton and that leads to a fast count from Bryan for the victory  Kane became frustrated with Bryans unfairness and threatened him with a choke slam but then he pulls away,  it was a slow match but Daniel Bryan kept things intriguing and he was a great addition to the match. Is there anyone hotter in the business right now? Daniel Bryan is a great talent, he is as good as it gets right now and I think he is showing that in his performance in the ring and on the mic.

Backstage with Paul Heyman, CM Punk and Curtis Axel
Punk is adamant he doesn't want anyone's help and he tells them that all Axel has to do is just watch and Heyman says he gets it all apart from the hostility with him backstage, Punk goes on to say ok Paul you I trust him I don't , Heyman then asks Punk to trust his better judgment in trusting  Curtis Axel.

Fandango vs Sheamus
Fandango makes his glittery entrance and straight away outcomes Sheamus, Fandango starts off by dodging Sheamus to do a dance move twice, Sheamus then imitates Fandango and here we go Sheamus with the battering attack and then a suplex for a 2 count. Fandango gains momentum by reversing the Irish whip into a kick to the chest and not long after Sheamus is back on top, Fandango leaves the ring for a breather. And now Fandango is the aggressor taking it to Sheamus, Sheamus battles out and feeds off the crowd to do his comeback that leads to Fandango taking the count out.

Miz vs Ryback
Y2J takes his place on commentary whilst Miz and Ryback make there ways to the ring. Miz attacks the leg of Ryback trying to work the injury but Ryback is too strong and he consistently powers Miz around the ring, Miz kicks Ryback out of the way but Miz is cut off emedietly by Ryback. Ryback now has Miz grounded under the ropes chocking him in front of Y2J, Miz had enough of Ryback smashing him in the head and Miz is fired up and takes it to Rybacks injured leg again and Ryback calls the match off due to the injured leg.Y2J is in the ring and he hits in his words Cry back with a Code breaker.

Mark henry says "my name is Mark Henry and im known as the strongest man in the world and I earned it", Mark Henry goes on to say he earned to be here and there is too much politics and he is here because of him and they never gave him a legitimate shot, he then says "I pretended to like the boys and I did the right thing for the business and it got me nowhere damn I deserve to be the WWE Champion". This is an interesting promo, Mark Henry goes on to says he is going to do the right thing and that no one will be able to deny him,

It was a very tense promo from mark Henry and it felt as though he meant every word he said.

Backstage with Vickie, Brad Maddox and Vince McMahan
Vince approaches the pair of em and he questions them about Daniel Bryan and he asks Vickie why she isn't listening to him, Vince says he likes the  main event but "it should be on PPV you are throwing money away what are you doing", then threatens Vickie and then he leaves. The serge for power continues and it looks like we are getting old school and hopefully a heel Vince.


CM  Punk and Curtis Axel vs P2P
Punk wanted to start the match , but Axel did the heel thin g by tagging in. They argued. Punk wanted the tag . Axel was reluctant to do it. P2P gained the momentum and grounded Axel in the corner, the crowed was dead for most of this, After a few minutes Axel made the hot tag to Punk the crowed suddenly woke up. Punk was on fire hitting a number of his top moves including the neck breaker, the flying elbow and the GTS and at that point Axel tagged himself in to pinch the win off Punk.

Heyman wanted a team celebration but pun k decided to leave by him self.

A very useful match to build the story of Punk, Lesnar, Heyman and Axel and I feel they are doing so v effectively. They Axel very wisely although it takes him away from the fude with Miz a little but at the end of the day he is used only as Lesnars sub.


Kaitlin vs Alicia Fox
A decent suplex by fox for the 2 count and a nice flipping leg drop and then Kaitlin hit a spear to win the match.

AJ and Big E appear on the stage in an attempt to humiliate Kaitlin again this time by showing images of Kaitlin modelling but they have put Kaitlin's head on a fat women's body.

Backstage segment
Backstage Stephanie confronts Vickie and tells her about the poor job she has been doing of late and , Vickie tells Stephanie its difficult when you have 3 people telling you different things all the time you don't know which way to go, Stephanie tells Vickie she relates to her having done the job before in her career and then Vickie tires to be funny and attempts to suck up to her. Stephanie ends the segment by telling Vickie she will be evaluated next week to determine if she gets fired or promoted.

The segment started off well but I was disappointed to find out that we are going to have another job evaluation, just sack it off already and hire Brad Maddox as the gm,Maddox is too good to be  an assistant and he would suite the job role so well with his personality.

Rhodes vs Cesaro

Cody Rhodes was all suited up for a match as him and Damian Sandow made there way to the ring.Cody Rhodes said that they will both be in MITB natch for a shot at the World title and there friendship will still be intact.

Cesaro made his way to the ring with his manager Zeb Colter, who delivered his usual style of promo complaining about the government and he also welcomes back Jack Swagger. Colter said that if your against them you will fail.

Cesaro had control early on, but he then was countered with a pin-fall attempt while his feet where on the ropes. Cesaro dropped him with an uppercut shot. JBL said that now Cesaro is with Colter hue is learning Dutch. Cody Rhodes wanted a backslide but Cesaro counters it into the neutralizer to win the match.

I was too happy when this match was announced because of it been heel vs Heel we don't see it too often but it was a pleasant suprize, A pretty decent match.



John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio

This was a not for either Championship. Things where even early on, But then Cena missed a corner attack and he went shoulder first into the steel ring post.Double axe by Del Rio got the 2 count as the kids cheer for Cena, Del Rio misses a charge towards the ropes and he ended up crashing to the floor.
Del Rio went for a move off the top rope, but Cena countered with a dropkick to the ribs. Cena goes for his vintage shoulder tackle but Del Rio side steps him and hits him with the backstabber for the 2 count.they went back and forth for a while in a pretty good match, Mark Henry scours the ring to knock Cena off his game and Ziggler climbs to the top to distract Del Rio and in doing so he costs Del Rio the match by Cena doing the Attitude adjustment for the win. .

Mark Henry stalks the ring and Cena before grabbing the WWE Championship and he then enters the ring and throws the title at Cena.

Raw went off the air to a disturbing Bray Wyatt video package and the sound of the commentators hyping them up.
