The Blueprint Matt Morgan
TNA Impact Wrestling
Hulk Hogan started the show off as his music hits and he walks down to the ring talking about last week and calls out Sting who then walks down to the ring. Hogan starts off by apologising to Sting about pushing him away and that its one of the biggest mistakes he's made and that they should have stuck together. Sting says that its all just water under the bridge and asks if he can make a six man tag match for next week against The Aces & Eights and if he can get his team together which is granted. Hogan then talks about needing to sort out a number 1 contender to face TNA World Heavyweight Champion and the president of The Aces & Eights Bully Ray. This then leads to 'The Blueprint' Matt Morgan interrupting comes down to the ring. Morgan says that Hogan is going to make another mistake and is probably going to make Sting the number 1 contender however Hogan says no more mistake's and hand outs anymore. Hogan says that its not going to be handed to Sting or Morgan however the number 1 contender is whoever wins the main event match tonight which is... Sting vs Matt Morgan then walks back down the ramp.

There was then video footage regarding X-Division great, Chris Sabin talking about his injuries and being out as long as he has. He talks about his goals not wanting to be just an X-Division champion or a tag team champion but he wants to be a world champion.

There's then some backstage footage with Kurt Angle saying he's challenging any member of The Aces & Eights to face him in the ring tonight.

The first match of the night is a 3-way X-Division Match with the winner getting a spot in a the 3-way title shot. First out is Sonjay Dutt, who's soon met in the ring by the second participant Zema Ion. The third participant is the guy who the fans have been waiting to see for a very long time. The return of CHIRS SABIN.

Things start off with Chris Sabin in control as he and Dutt took Ion out of the ring and Sabin becoming the stronger of the remaining two. Zema Ion then gets back into things applying an offence towards Sabin before going to Dutt and applying the offence to him. The commentators then talk about the 'On The Clock' results and the person returning to TNA for the next contenders 3-way match is Suicide who got 69% of the votes. Rockstar Spud got 24% of the votes and Rashad Cameron for the least votes with 7%. No real participant in control as all three have had close 2 counts. We get to see the 'X-Cam' once more showing the view of the referee, the match back and forth with no competitor gaining control. Sabin manages to get control of the match again with a very impressive combination of offence moves to both Ion and Dutt before getting the 3 count on Zema Ion with what seemed to be a new and very impressive finishing manoeuvre. Sabin wins over Ion on 4:02 meaning that Sabin will be in an X-Division Championship match along with Petey Williams and X-Division Champion Kenny King.

Backstage segment involving Robbie E and Jesse Godderz talking about Rob Terry. Godderz then says they should do a 3 on 1 against Terry and that Joey Ryan should be there third man.
It then goes over to TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray who seems angry about Hogan and Sting mocking The Aces & Eights. He then talks about not being worried about Sting or Matt Morgan but he is worried about Kurt Angle because he is never staying out and that he wants him taking him out. Wes Brisco starts saying he wants to be the one to take out Angle, then Garrett  says he wants to before D'Lo Brown takes control and says he's going to be the one who's going to take care of Angle. Is this going to be the in-ring return of D'Lo Brown.

The second match is a 3-on-1 handicap match. First coming out is Robbie E, Jesse Godderz and Joey Ryan. There challenger is Rob Terry and the match starts off with Rob Terry and Joey Ryan. Terry starts things off as dominant as ever just manhandling Joey Ryan throwing him about before the interference of the other two to enable the trio to gain control and have the big man on his knees. The numbers game is showing successful for the trio as they're using quick tags to keep control of the match. Lack of communication between the team as a tag is being made which allows Terry to again manhandle Ryan which is shortly stopped as Godderz & Robbie E are quick to apply the offence on Terry however Terry soon regains control and starts dropping the trio with a shot each before a double backdrop superplex on Godderz & Robbie E. Rob Terry very impressive again finishing off Ryan and getting the win on 3:34.

Bobby Roode & Austin Aries
TNA Impact Wrestling

'The IT Factor' Bobby Roode & 'A Double' Austin Aries are in the ring with Roode talking about Bad Influence and that last week it was all mind games and they got in his head a little bit regarding the proposition of Fortune. Roode seems to be pissed about there interference which cost them the match last week. Aries talks about not being best friends like Bad Influence and that they hardly like each other but they have a common goal and that's to dominate and build a team of 'World Champions'. There #1 contenders opponents next week soon interrupt and down come Bad Influence. Daniels talks about that it was only about the tag championship and that they're the best tag team in the business, not Roode & Aries. After a few traded insults the TNA Tag Team Champions; Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez come out to the ring. Chavo comes down saying that he has been to Hulk Hogan about having a special guess referee for the number 1 contenders match next week between Bad Influence and Roode & Aries then hits 'The Cowboy' James Storm's music.

It then goes backstage to Sting going to Kurt Angle asking if he is ready for his match tonight and then asks for a minute alone with Kurt Angle without the camera or sound.
Then it goes to Tara and Gail Kim both talking about their tag match against Mickie James & Taryn Terrell.
It then goes to Chris Sabin talking about being back in the ring and how great it feels and about him coming back from injury.

Kurt Angle
TNA Impact Wrestling
The third match of the night. Out first is the return to the ring of The Aces & Eights 'Vice President' D'Lo Brown and then his opponent Kurt Angle. D'Lo gets on the mic and tells Kurt Angle he doesn't want to just beat him but he wants to humiliate him and do something no man has ever done before and beat Kurt Angle in a I Quit match. D'Lo starts the match off assaulting Angle but soon into the match Angle gets him in a submission hold but soon lets go because other member of The Aces & Eights come down to watch. This gives D'Lo the chance of get his breath outside of the ring and become in control of the match. D'Lo starts working on the arm of Angle with a string of grapples on the arm. D'Lo still in complete control of the match and still working on the arm trying to get Kurt Angle to quit. Angle trying to get back into the match but D'Lo keeps control of things and stops any sort of offence from Angle. Angle finally gets back into things by delivering not his 3 back to back German Superplex's but delivers 6 consecutive German Superplex's. D'Lo soon slows things down with both men down, D'Lo to his feet first gets Angle of up for the Powerbomb which is reversed and Angle applies the Angle Lock which gets D'Lo to say the words 'I Quit'. Angle wins on 8:08.

AJ Styles, TNA Impact Wrestling
Will He Join The Aces & Eights Or Stick With TNA?
Surprisingly The Aces & Eights just look on at D'Lo and Angle and walk off as their 'Vice President' says I Quit. Angle then says to Christi Hemme that it was just another battle in the war but his mind is on someone else and then calls out 'The Phenomenal' AJ Styles. AJ hasn't shown as TNA goes to a commercial break where he still hasn't come out to Angle. After repeatedly calling Styles out he finally comes out to join Angle in the ring and gets straight in his face. Angle starts saying Styles looks a different man and is looking like he wants to take off Angle's head like he did Storm's the other week. Angle talks about The Aces & Eights and AJ choosing them would be the easy way out and that AJ Styles is the reason Kurt Angle first came to Impact Wrestling because if he got to wrestle Styles it'd be one of his greatest matches of all times. Angle tells AJ that he and Sting are going to be taking it to The Aces & Eights next week and if AJ is going to be with TNA then that's cool but if not then they're going to have some problems. He finishes by telling AJ the choice is his until next week.

Matt Morgan is backstage saying he is pissed off and annoyed and tells he is going to take the opportunity and gut through Sting tonight and at Slammiversary he'll gut through Bully Ray and become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Taryn Terrell,
TNA Impact Wrestling
The fourth match of the night is Taryn Terrell & Mickie James against Gail Kim and Tara. Terrell starting things off taking it to both Kim & Tara before Mickie helps out and both standing strong in the ring with their opponents out on the floor early on. Mickie & Terrell are in control of the match at the start but Gail & Tara soon get control of the match by working together on Mickie James. James & Terrell finally get back in control of the match after a dominance spell by their opponents which led to Taryn Terrell performing a roll up on Tara and getting the 3 count on 6:23.
Taryn Terrell & Mickie James beat Tara & Gail Kim. After the match Tara & Gail Kim attack Terrell & James from behind. Kim destroying Terrell in the ring which leads to Kim performing a Figure Four Leg Lock on the ring post!

It then went backstage to The Aces & Eights where it showed TNA World Heavyweight Champion and the president of The Aces & Eights Bully Ray asking the boys who went ringside for D'Lo's match with Angle if D'Lo really did say I Quit. Looks like the president isn't impressed with his VP. Bully Ray then tells his members not to be a 'douche' back to D'Lo and that he'll deal with him next week and then states he isn't asking who's going to step up next week in the 6 man, but he's telling them. The 3 Aces & Eights members to face Sting, Angle & another (possibly AJ Styles) will be; himself, Anderson & Devon.

It then goes backstage to former TNA Tag Team Champions, Bobby Roode & Austin Aries talking about that their opponents Bad Influence. Roode states the fact Kaz & Daniels have never held the company on their back and held a prestigious championship that being a World Heavyweight Championship unlike himself and his partner Austin Aries and that they're going to be the number 1 contenders for the TNA Tag Team Championship.

The Icon Sting
TNA Impact Wrestling
The final match of the night, the main event see's 'The Blueprint' Matt Morgan come down to the ring first, wearing the famous robe which he stole of Hulk Hogan which he wore when he faced Andre The Giant. Then his opponent Sting made his way down to the ring. Matt Morgan starts the match using his size and strength just taking the match at a slow pace slowing Sting down and just remaining in control. Sting tries to fight back but Morgan stops the offence by delivering a Choke Slam to Sting which could only get a two count. Morgan remaining in control of the match stopping any chance of a comeback from Sting. Sting finally gets an opening on the big 7 footer and starts throwing him into the guardrails. It isn't before long that Matt Morgan gets in control of the match and again showing complete dominance over The Icon Sting. Sting again gets an opening and starts his offence on Morgan an soon delivers a Stinger Splash which doesn't seem to have much effect on Morgan who soon throws Sting into the corner giving him blows. Sting doesn't seem to be effected and does his trademark scream at Morgan and starts mounting an offence before he runs into the Carbon Footprint and seemed to have got the win however Sting kicks out on two. Morgan goes for a second Carbon Footprint to Sting in the corner, Sting avoids and it leads to Morgan hurting his knee. The veteran Sting capitalises on this and soon gets Morgan into the Sharp Shooter who looks beat but manages to grab the rope. For the first time in the match Morgan looks battered and vulnerable and Sting is the guy in control. Sting grabs Morgan and applies the Sharp Shooter once more, Morgan no longer moving seems out of it and referee Earl Hebner calls for the bell as Morgan has passed out due to the pain of the Sharp Shooter. Sting beats Matt Morgan on 9:40.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion
President Of The Aces & Eights
Bully Ray

This means Sting will be going to Slammiversary to face TNA World Heavyweight Champion, the 'President' of The Aces & Eights, Bully Ray. After the match the three guys that will be involved in the 6 man tag match next week come out to the ring. That being; Bully Ray, Devon & Anderson. Bully trying to get into Sting's head shouting from the apron as Impact Wrestling goes off air.

Another good solid TNA Impact Wrestling show in my opinion, once again leaving you wondering about next week. Things such as will AJ Styles accept and join Sting & Kurt Angle to take on The Aces & Eights next week or will he join the group? What's going to happen regarding The Aces & Eights 'Vice President' D'Lo Brown as Bully Ray isn't impressed with him saying I Quit to Kurt Angle? Also Bad Influence; Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels will be facing 'The IT Factor' Bobby Roode & 'A Double' Austin Aries with 'The Cowboy' James Storm the special guest referee, the winner get to face Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez for the TNA Tag Team Championship. I enjoyed seeing the return of Chris Sabin, coming back with a new finishing move to win the match and go on to getting a shot in a 3-way match for the X-Division Championship. Matt Morgan and Sting had an impressive match and again the AJ Styles storyline still continuing and giving you no idea which side he'll choose.

Hope you've enjoyed reading this article, come back next week for the next review of TNA Impact.
